Subhakanta Sahoo received Master’s degree in Power Systems from the SRM University, Chennai. During his Masters he worked on enhancing the performance of Hybrid Systems in Smart Grid, which were deployed in Anna University. Subhakanta is currently the Project Head of Bright solar Limited. At Bright, he has been part the core team developing Bright’s EPC vertical of grid-connected rooftop solar system under net-metering, and ground-mounted PV systems, Solar Water pumps. Previously, Subhakanta was the Project Manager at Raijin Team and Trainer at Gujarat Institute of Solar Energy. He has worked with various renewable energy companies in Gujarat as a consultant and is a Certified with the Skill Council for Green Jobs, Government of India. Subhakanta’s expertise in the area of solar PV net-metering system along with specific emphasis on policy and regulation of various states.
